If You're Making Spooky Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwiches, A Few Tips
Easy as this hack may be, you can be more efficient and spook-tacular ice cream sandwiches can result if you follow a few simple tips. For one, allow the dough come to room temperature. This ensures it will be soft and pliable enough to press into the sheet pan. A classic ice cream sandwich from the store consists of creamy ice cream sandwiched between two cookies that are soft and chewy, not crunchy. Make sure to err on the side of underbaking your cookie dough. Finally, you will want to let the baked cookie sheet cool and firm up once it's out of the oven, so you can take it out of the pan in one fell swoop - there's plenty of spook printed on the cookies, there's no need to add more by accidentally breaking them before you can assemble the ice cream sandwiches!
