The One Pantry Staple Dolly Parton Can't Live Without
Dolly Parton
There really isn't anything Dolly Parton can't do. After being in the game for decades, the Iron Butterfly has literally shown her fans (and naysayers) that doing it all is in her DNA. From releasing nearly 50 solo studio albums to dominating the food space with her Duncan Hines collaboration, Dolly Parton is truly one of the hardest working women out there.
While her work ethic is undeniably one of the most impressive you've ever seen, one place she believes in taking it easy in is in the kitchen. Of course, that may be proven in her box mixes and upcoming frozen dinner line, but for Dolly, it's also apparent in the pantry staple she can't live without. And if you're thinking it's something flashy, you might just be shocked at what she absolutely loves.
"Potatoes. I've got to have potatoes all the time," she told Parade. "You know how you always say you have to have your milk and your bread? And potatoes."
But don't think the "Jolene" songstress has to have her potatoes all dolled up like she always is. According to the icon, a plain old boiled potato is just fine.

"I love cooking all types of potatoes and I even love a good old boiled potato," she said. "I love to boil potatoes, let them get cold and then slice 'em. You know, with just salt and pepper and they're great with cheese."
Going on to state that "anything to do with a potato, I've got to have," Dolly gave us another reason to love her even more.
So, if your friends and family members have tried to convince you to cut the French fries and mashed potatoes out of your diet, just show them this and tell them that if Dolly loves it, you can too. After all, aren't we all just taking cues from her life?
