One potato, two potato, three potato four. This South Jersey spot features stuffed spuds
MILLVILLE – If you want to get your fill of potatoes, then travel to Millville and get stuffed with potatoes with names like the Wife Pleaser and Yogi meets Dracula.
Full Potatoes restaurant is unique in that the main items on the menu are … potatoes with all sorts of fillings.
The Black-owned eatery opened initially in Bridgeton two years ago, then had a short stint in Philadelphia, before opening in Millville in November 2023.
Owner Marcedes McFarland and her husband Chucky Ward, the head chef, run things at the restaurant.
“My husband figured if you can put anything on pasta, you can put anything in a potato; that's why we call them Full Potatoes,” said McFarland, a Sicklerville resident. “My husband is the head chef and hand cuts all meat and vegetables in-house while I do all the baked goods like sweet potato cheesecake and banana-free banana pudding.”
McFarland, a Woodbury High School graduate, grew up in South Jersey. Her husband was born in the area, but was raised in Chicago, a foodie’s paradise.
The husband-wife team have created an interesting and unique restaurant, with potatoes as a base, although the menu also offers burgers, potato tots and desserts.
The restaurant is located at 201 North High Street in a busy downtown area of Millville, near the iconic Lavoy Theatre.

What’s next for Full Potatoes?
After finding a firm footing in South Jersey, McFarland is considering expanding.
“We went to Philly, but we were surprisingly unsuccessful, so we came to Millville in November. We would like to open other locations in the future and are currently learning how to grow our business and take on employees.”
There are even breakfast potatoes, which come with your choice of one meat, two scrambled eggs, one vegetable and cheddar cheese.
Customers can also build their own potato.
