Oh, just you wait! Not only has Bob’s Burgers been renewed for an upcoming 14th season, it has also been greenlit for a 15th season as well. In early 2023, FOX handed out two-season renewals to its slate of animated mainstays: Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons and Family Guy.

The 13th season of Bob’s Burgers ended with its usual style of heart and hilarity. We saw Louise struggle at school when a certain assignment—and comments from Wayne (Andy Richter)—put her on a hero’s journey, culminating in an inspired conversation with her mother, Linda, and a successful presentation on her own hero, Amelia Earhart. The episode explored themes of self-esteem and feminism in such a poignant and relatable way. The A-plot was interwoven with a Mother’s Day B-plot where Bob hired a masseur-in-training to give Linda a massage as a gift.

How did the writers’ strike affect Season 14 of Bob’s Burgers?
Bob’s Burgers is one of a handful of series able to premiere in the fall, despite the fallout from the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes. A storyboard animator for the series recently stated on TikTok that there are 17 completed episodes for the current season, as opposed to the usual 22. It's unknown whether further episodes for this season will be able to be completed.
