Only 90 of These Limited Edition Smeg x Disney Fridges Are Available to Buy
Past collaborators include Dolce & Gabbana, Mini and Veuve Cliquot, but Smeg has pulled out all the stops to celebrate a milestone birthday this year-teaming up with none other than Mickey Mouse.
The instantly recognizable Italian appliance brand is about to turn 70, and their flagship store in London is toasting its first birthday, so it made sense to collaborate with another famous birthday boy.
Mickey Mouse first hit the big screen nine decades ago in black and white animation Steamboat Willie. So Smeg sprinkled their iconic FAB28 fridge with a little Disney magic-in the form of an original Mickey sketch, and a limited edition numbered silver plaque-to create a real collector's edition, with a ￡1,699 price tag.
With just 90 fridges available to buy (that's one for every year since Mickey's debut), this collaboration is seriously exclusive. Disney fans will need to hot foot it to Smeg's London flagship store quick.
