I'm Obessing Over Selena Gomez And Cara Delevingne's Scenes In "Only Murders In The Building"'s Season Two
If you’re following the latest releases, Only Murders in the Building’s second season recently hit Hulu. Our favorite podcasters are back at the Arconia with a new investigation to follow and lots and lots of comedy in between. We love to see it! But, on the dawn of its fourth episode, I’m still thinking about the new possible love interest for Selena Gomez’s Mabel. Her highly anticipated flirt is with none other than Cara Delevingne playing Alice, a mysterious yet highly fascinating owner of an art gallery. Just the time for a couple of rendezvous, and kisses were already flying between these two. I mean, really!
And of course, I’m still talking about it. Probably will until we figure out where they’re going with it.
Disclaimer: This isn’t a major spoiler since their flirt has been revealed long before the season aired, just don’t go on reading if you haven’t seen it!
Let’s start with their first meeting, of course!

After courteously sliding into Mabel’s DMs to invite her to the gallery, Alice is introduced to us saving poor Mabel from some hipster trying to take a selfie with her. Apparently, if you’re accused of murdering someone, you’re a star, and taking a selfie with you is of high priority. Like a knight in shining armor, Alice gets rid of the guy and finally greets Mabel, all while looking at her with a seductive look which would have me dead on the floor. What a way to start!
Ah sh*t, here we go again...

What is already my latest OTP in a long series of OTPs then proceeds to talk in front of an art piece while everyone around is looking at them. Alice doesn’t seem to care much since she’s too busy eye-fucking Mabel. Totally get it, BTW. At least she manages to talk the young artist/murder suspect into visiting her collective. Yay, more scenes for me!
Everything about this screams "lesbian" to me.

After what seems an eternity, Mabel finally enters Alice’s studio, and my little lesbian heart is already throbbing. Alice is also a little too excited, rushing to greet her European-style (two kisses on the cheeks is the only way to do it). And immediately cue to a moment of that awkward lesbianism we love so much. Of course, that is because Mabel is not used to opening up to someone so fast, but her reaction to Alice’s presence has me under a bus.

Do not get me started on this!

Not important in the grand scheme of things, I just really needed a GIF of Alice in a tank top and a bun, handing an axe to Mabel. It’s for science.
"Cuteness overload" ALERT!

For some more cuteness, refer to this gift of a very confident Alice helping a very in-the-middle-of-a-gay-panic-attack Mabel put on a pair of safety goggles. It’s the little things. I don’t ask for much, just please let them keep doing this as long as it takes.
What? I haven't re-watched this scene 10 times, what are you talking about?

Again, it’s for science. I’m not sure I was expecting to see Selena Gomez destroying a whole sculpture with an axe, but I’m sure glad it’s what I got.
Said destruction is immediately met with sheer awe and big heart eyes by Alice.

Mabel’s artistic performance has definitely left a mark. Honestly, I think Alice is also a little turned on by it, but it could just be my imagination running wild.
Nevermind, it definitely did something.

Loving the commitment here, fully on point.

Going straight into making out is very lesbian of them. And yes, some have pointed out how the kiss looks weird because of Selena’s closed mouth, but she explained that it was supposed to push Mabel out of her comfort zone, so it was supposed to look kinda uncomfortable on her end. So let’s not bring this up anymore. Let’s just celebrate the fact we have another w/w couple to root for, at least I hope so. I have no idea where the show wants to go with them.
Sure Alice, just nod and reassure yourself. It wasn’t a dream.
