The Only Way We Want To Eat Waffles From Now On
GET THE RECIPE HERE.
Wanna know a trick for making something infinitely more cute and fun? Put a stick in it and call it a "pop." The concept sounds kind of absurd, but it's true. Case in point: A cookie pop is way more exciting than a cookie (even when it's the same flavor). The same goes for cheesecake and waffles. Most especially waffles.
To make waffle pops, whip together your favorite waffle batter. (We love Bisquick, but more power to you if you prefer to make yours from scratch.) Pour a ladle's worth of batter into a heated waffle iron and immediately place a popsicle stick in each corner of the waffle iron. Drizzle more batter on top of popsicle sticks, close waffle iron and cook until golden and crispy. Remove from iron and cut waffle into 4 sections.
The last step is the hardest: choosing your toppings. Luckily, since 4 waffle pops technically equates to 1 traditional waffle, you can choose a variety of fun flavors. Our favorites are confetti (melted white chocolate + rainbow sprinkles), chocolatey banana (banana slices + mini chocolate chips + melted peanut butter), and cookies n' cream (melted chocolate + crushed Oreos).
