Oprah is door-to-door canvassing for Stacey Abrams in Georgia and people are losing it
Oprah is heading to Georgia this week to campaign for Stacey Abrams to become the first black woman governor which means: You get to vote! You get to vote! You get to vote!
Stacey Abrams, the Democratic candidate for Governor in Georgia, announced the news on Twitter Wednesday morning. If Abrams wins in Georgia on Nov. 6, she will be the first black female governor in the country’s history. In one the most-watched races of this midterm season, Winfrey joins former President Barack Obama and stars like Will Ferrell and Tiffany Haddish in an effort to get out the vote for Abrams.
“I am honored to have Oprah join me for uplifting and honest conversations with voters about the clear choice before us in this election and the boundless potential of Georgians,” Abrams said in a statement.

Oprah Winfrey is coming to Georgia to door-knock for Stacey Abrams on Thursday while Brian Kemp will be stuck campaigning with Mike Pence. It’s like getting a bag full of candy for trick or treat versus a box of raisins.
