So Oprah Showed Up to Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Bridal Shower
Katherine Schwarzenegger just had her bridal shower ahead of her wedding to Chris Pratt.
Chris Pratt and fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger made their red-carpet debut on Tuesday for the premiere of Chris’s new Avengers film, a movie that definitely did not costar Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, even though they do some pretty great Iron Man/Captain Marvel cosplay. (And do yourself a favor and check out this vid of baby Stormi as Thor; it’s much too cute).
But back to Chris and Katherine! The couple attended another big event yesterday, but this one was much more personal. According to People, Katherine’s mother Maria Shriver threw her daughter an “intimate” bridal shower on Saturday. As a reminder, Maria was the one who introduced Katherine to Chris, so she’s very much in support of the couple.
It’s also being reported that the event was “very traditional and exactly what you would imagine for a classic bride,” except for of course this bridal shower had some celebs in attendance, unlike your traditional shower. The guest list included Katherine’s dad Arnold Schwarzenegger, her fiancé Chris, and for some reason, Oprah was there as well. (Maybe she’s friends with Maria??)
Chris and Katherine’s wedding is allegedly happening this fall, and at the Avengers premiere Chris said that he was “pretty deep” into wedding planning and that “it’s a good time!”
Apparently, they aren’t opting for a big ceremony. A source shared, “Chris and Katherine’s wedding will be a very intimate affair with just their closest loved ones. They don’t want it to be a circus. The focus will be their commitment to each other, and God will play a very large role on their big day. It’s been such a special time not just for them but also for their families. Everyone is so excited.”
And while that intel is great and all, all that I really want to know now is: Will Oprah also be at their wedding?!
