For those who live a gluten-free lifestyle, there are limited options at the grocery store when it comes to baked goods or sweet snacks you can choose from. Oreo wants to change that, though, and is officially (and permanently!) adding gluten-free options to their line-up so those who can't or don't eat gluten can finally enjoy them.

The gluten-free Oreos will be available in the classic version of the cookie as well as in Double Stuf form. Hitting shelves in January 2021, gluten-free Oreos will be available wherever you find Oreo products for around the same price point and are guaranteed to be made with real cocoa.

Oreo has been stepping up to the plate and reimagining ways fans can enjoy their cookies. Whether it's with a dunking kit that comes with a mug and tongs so you can easily eat your cookies with milk or if you'd prefer to customize your cookies with colored frosting and sprinkles through OREOiD, there are a number of ways you can eat milk's favorite cookie.

Again, the new additions to the Oreo collection will make their way to grocery stores in the beginning of the new year which is yet another reason we can't wait until 2020 is over. Until then, those who avoid gluten can still try out any of our gluten-free cookie recipes for the holiday season. There's everything from chocolate chip to snickerdoodles to choose from, which, sure, aren't the same as a Double Stuf Oreo, but trust—they will still hit the spot.
