Outlets at Tejon to hold Back-to-School Bonanza
Get ready to send the kids back to school with the Outlets at Tejon, which is hosting its Back-to-School Bonanza on Saturday.
Starting at 1 p.m., free school supplies will be handed out at multiple stations spread throughout the outlets.
Stations will include supplies such as backpacks, pencils, binder paper, Crayola packs, colored pencils, erasers, rulers, folders, binders and glue sticks.
A map of the supply stations will be available at each station to assist in planning.
The distribution will continue while supplies last.
The outlets are located at 5701 Outlets at Tejon Parkway in Arvin.
Teachers also have a chance to win this month.
The shopping center is hosting a sweepstakes to award 10 educators a $500 Visa gift card to purchase classroom supplies for the upcoming school year.
Preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school teachers who are assigned a classroom in either Kern or Los Angeles counties for the 2024/2025 school year are eligible for the contest.
Those directly affiliated with the outlets in any way are ineligible to enter but they can be part of a household of an employee.
To enter, submit the name in person at the Outlets at Tejon’s Guest Services office, comment on a designated social media post regarding "Tejon Treats the Teachers" or mail in an entry form available on TejonOutlets.com.
There is a limit of one submittal per participant. Entries will be accepted through 11:59 a.m. Aug. 7.
Ten winners will be selected by 5 p.m. Aug. 7 and will have 10 days to visit Outlets at Tejon’s Guest Services to claim their prize. Winners must present proof of identification and a valid teaching credential.
