Popular wine, cheese spot closing after more than 20 years
Heather Hill Farms in Ozark is closing on Sunday, Sept. 15, after more than 20 years in business. According to a Facebook post, the store is closing due to the fact that Lambert's Cafe in Ozark did not renew Heather Hill Farms' lease.
As of publication, Lambert's Cafe did not respond to request for comment.
Heather Hill Farms is known for its gourmet food, cheeses and wine and liquor selection.
New coffee trailer to host grand opening
Vixen's Brew, a coffee trailer where baristas don bikinis, is having its grand opening in Republic on Sunday. The business had its soft opening last week as well as a special event Friday, Sept. 12.
From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, the bikini coffee trailer will be outside Macadoodle's in Republic, 1439 US-60. It will be in the same spot from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. The woman-owned trailer is still searching for a permanent home.
Drinks on offer include hot and iced coffees as well as lemonade. Vixen's Brew uses locally roasted coffee from Battlefield's Copper Canyon Coffee Roasters.

Springfield to get second Olive Garden
Springfieldians can look forward to a second Olive Garden location sometime in 2025.
According to city permits, the Italian restaurant chain will open its second Springfield location at 3370 W. Sunshine St. as part of the Sunshine Towne Center.
The restaurant is expected to open in summer 2025, Olive Garden Communications Manager Brittany Baron told the News-Leader earlier this week.
Food truck fest celebrates 10 years
This Saturday, foodies and food trucks will gather at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, 3001 N. Grant St., for the 10th annual MO Food Truck Festival. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Vendors from around the state will come to showcase their dishes and drinks. According to the Facebook event, fare available will include burgers, Cajun, barbecue, pizza, tacos, Italian, Asian and sweet treats. In addition to food, festival-goers can also enjoy live music all day.
Parking and admission is free, with food and drink available for purchase from vendors.
