“Having grown up in Palm Desert, Cabana Club is a dream come true for me,” Cabana Club owner Paula Thompson said in a press release. “I’ve always wanted to open a bar and eatery with a chic, desert oasis ambiance, and this new Cabana Club concept at DOCO really hits the spot.”
Cabana Club will be the second business owned by Thompson in Sacramento. Thompson also owns SMIC’s Sip & Quip on 1200 K Street, a few blocks away from the Golden 1 Center.
