Papa John's Is Giving Away A Trip to New Zealand
We know, we know: There a million and one national food days that bombard your timeline - but with them come some occasionally great perks. Most of the time it's free or discounted food, but sometimes, outlandish and awesome prizes are part of the shtick: In honor of National Donut Day, Papa John's wants to send you clear across the globe - on their dime. All you have to do is order donut holes in the next month (yes, the pizza place is serving donuts now, more on that later), and you can enter to win a trip to this gorgeous corner of the world:
Papa John's getaway to Donut Island (also called Whenuakura Island) includes an eight-day, seven-night trip for two with all expenses paid. The giveaway starts Friday, June 1, so check Papa John's website then for more info. But here's the gist is, order donut holes online or through the Papa John's app from June 2 to 30 and make sure to opt-in to the contest. A little background on the island itself: It belongs to the Maori people, and it's home to the stunning emerald lagoon picture below. You could be that kayaker!
The donut holes are a limited time menu addition that Papa John's brought on just for National Donut Day, which is this Friday, June 1. The pizza joint added cinnamon sugar-coated donut holes stuffed with caramel creme to its dessert line-up, and you can get a free order (10 holes!) on Friday with any online pizza purchase. And from June 2 onward, you can get a free order when you buy two pizzas with the promo code 'DONUT'. Basically, if you want to try the new donuts and you're a Papa John's fan, they'll give 'em to you for free. Go forth and eat pizza - and donuts.
