Paris Hilton Announces the Name of Her Baby Boy
Paris Hilton named her son after a city, keeping it in theme with her own name.
The stars aren't blind to Paris Hilton's son's name.
The Simple Life star, who revealed the birth of her first child with husband Carter Reum in January, has finally announced the little one's name: Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum.
The heiress shared the reveal on the Feb. 22 episode of her podcast This Is Paris, explaining how she came to select the moniker.
"It's so unique," she shared. "I love that it's not only a city but it also has other meanings that are just beautiful. I really believe that names have power and we wanted a name for our baby boy that was uniquely remarkable."
Hilton, who is named after an iconic city herself, also shared that, since her childhood, she'd always wanted to name a baby girl London, as it's one of her favorite cities and it's "such a beautiful name."

Hilton was recently profiled by Harper's Bazaar, where she detailed what her experience with motherhood has been like so far. The multi-hyphenate delved into keeping the birth of Phoenix—which occurred via a surrogate—a secret, heading to the hospital in a brunette wig and hoodie, and checking in under a false name.
"My entire life has been so public, I've never had anything for myself," Hilton explained. "We decided that we wanted to have this whole experience to ourselves."
The new parents spent the first two days after Phoenix's birth alone with no staff, so they could fully enjoy getting adjusted to life with a newborn. And so far, it's been an incredible experience for Hilton, who told the publication that she feels "so complete now."
