Paris Jackson Hits Back at Haters Criticizing Her Visible Armpit Hair
Paris Jackson isn't about to let anyone shame her for having body hair.
The 25-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson recently shared an Instagram video in honor of her late father's birthday—but it was her armpit hair that seemed to steal the show.
While talking to the camera about her dad, who apparently didn't like to celebrate his birthday, Paris raised her arms at one point to tie her hair back, which prompted some haters to express their criticism in the comments.
"You made this whole video just to show you don’t shave your armpits," one hateful comment read.
As a result of similar judgements, the musician took to X (formerly Twitter) to clap back at the naysayers, telling them, "get over yourselves."
"i wasn’t tying my hair up to show off my armpit hair," she wrote in her post shared Wednesday, Aug. 30. "i've not shaved it for years and forget it’s there all the time. get over yourselves."
She then put a positive spin on her message by joking, "I was pulling my hair up to show my glass cutting jawline."

"People are being too damn hard on you," one of Paris' loyal fans replied in support of her.
"Love both your jawline and your armpit hair," someone else quipped.
"You're fine just the way you are!" wrote another fan. "Keep doing you! Dad will be proud."
In Paris' initial video on what would have been her dad's 65th birthday on Aug. 29, she also had to defend herself against criticism she often receives for not making a big deal out of her dad's birthday, despite that being what her dad would have reportedly wanted.
"There have been times where I don't post anything for my dad's birthday, and people lose their f--king minds," she stated in the clip, adding that she's even been told her to end her life over it before.
"They're basically gauging my love for my own father based on what I post on Instagram," she said, before showing off a video from earlier that day, where she paid homage to her dad while performing on stage.
"He put 50 years of blood, sweat and tears and love and passion into doing what he did, so that I can stand up here onstage in front of you and scream into a microphone,” she said on stage, before adding, "I owe everything to him."
"Please don’t use a man you have never met as an excuse to abuse, manipulate, and harass his daughter (who you also have never met)," she captioned her post, along with the word ""L O V E" and a red heart emoji.
