The Parks and Recreation Reunion Teaser Shows a Classic Ron and Leslie Moment
Since the world started self-isolating to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, it seems like every hit show since the beginning of time has reunited. For the most part, it's been an out of character Zoom call between old friends, or a rendition of a song by an original cast. This week, however, the stars and creators of Parks and Recreation are reuniting for a full-blown reunion episode.
While they have been keeping the plot quiet, on Wednesday, we got a sneak peek of what's to come. Sure enough, Ron and Leslie Knope, played by Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler, respectively, will be together again.
In the clip, Ron says that he has been making jerky and offers to send some to Leslie. Then in response to a question about isolating, he says (accurately) that he's been preparing for this his whole life.

According to Jim O’Heir, who played Jerry Gergich, the entire original cast will be involved in this reunion. He told the New York Post, "I literally had tears in my eyes after reading the script, and the fans are going to go crazy,” he says. “Each character has that trait the fans love about them.”
The special will air April 30th at 8:30 p.m. on NBC and proceeds will go to Feeding America.
