Pat McGrath’s Electric-Blue Eyeshadow Will Be Everywhere Soon

Makeup master and industry veteran Pat McGrath created one of the most striking looks of New York Fashion Week backstage at Anna Sui on Wednesday. The models wore dazzling electric-blue eyeshadow and wine-stained red lips. The pigments were ultra-rich and paired perfectly with the two high buns the models paraded down the runways with.

Models of the moment Gigi and Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner walked in Anna Sui’s show, and we were eager to see what new look McGrath would debut on their eyelids. She hinted on Instagram that the products she used to create this pigment-heavy look could be available soon from her namesake line, Pat McGrath Labs.

“Inspired by decadence and eccentricity of the collection, we did a rich burgundy mouth and a beautiful rich blue pigment on the eyes that’s based on a blue used in the collection,” McGrath told Allure. “It’s a look that’s all about fun and all about that blue pigment ladies.”

Sui’s presentation, as always, featured models of different ethnic backgrounds and skin tones, and surprisingly, the shade of blue looked equally stunning on everyone. Kendall and Bella loved it so much they wore it for the rest of the night.
