Patrick Mahomes Dishes on Which Taylor Swift Song ‘Gets Me Every Single Time’

Patrick Mahomes is a certified Swiftie, and good thing, as it would be super awkward if he weren't, given that his teammate and close pal Travis Kelce is currently dating Taylor Swift and all.

During a press conference for Super Bowl 58 Opening Night in Las Vegas on Monday, Feb. 5, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was asked several questions, some about the big game and other more personal inquiries–including one relating to the pop superstar.

An unnamed reporter asked the 28-year-old NFL player, "What's your favorite Taylor Swift song?" and he didn't hold back.

"I mean, the 'Anti-Hero' song," he admitted. "I mean, that one's pretty sweet. So I would say that, but, uh, I do love 'Love Story,'" Mahomes added. "It gets me every single time."

During that same presser, Mahomes said he is “doing whatever it takes” to secure a win during Super Bowl LVIII.

“It’s humbling, because I never thought I would be in this many Super Bowl games,” Mahomes said of his fourth Super Bowl in his six seasons as the Chiefs’ starting quarterback, noting that it “truly is remarkable” that he’s had so many opportunities to play in the NFL’s biggest game of the year.

“I don’t take it for granted, because you never know if you’re going to be able to be back in this game,” he added.

Mahomes also joked that he's incentivized his team even further, telling NFL Network reporter James Palmer, "I told the guys that if we win, I’ll bring everyone back to Vegas to celebrate."
