Makeup artist to the stars, Patrick Ta, counts Gigi and Bella Hadid, Camila Cabello, Sydney Sweeney and Hailee Steinfeld as just a handful of his A-list clientele. And the newest household name on his roster loves hot pink, her Malibu Dreamhouse and everything glam. Introducing: Patrick Ta Beauty x Barbie.
More from The Hollywood Reporter
The first-ever brand collaboration for Ta’s namesake beauty empire is available to shop exclusively at sephora.com and patrickta.com for a limited time beginning October 1. Sold as a set, the partnership introduces two of Patrick Ta Beauty’s best-selling products — his lip plumper and blush duo — in Barbie-inspired shades.
Patrick Ta x Barbie Blush Duo and Lip Plumper Set
The limited-edition release includes the Major Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush Duo in shade “She’s a Barbie Doll” and the Major Volume Plumping Gloss in shade “Malibu Dreamhouse.”
While the gloss may look hot pink in the bottle, it’s actually a sheer light pink that both plumps and delivers a non-sticky shine. The blush duo, which adds a fresh fuchsia flush to your cheeks, is intended to be applied with Ta’s signature creme-over-powder technique — what he uses to achieve that coveted red carpet glow.
First, apply the powder blush onto the apples of your cheeks with a fluffy brush (or the fluffy side of Patrick Ta’s bestselling dual-ended blush brush). Then, layer the creme formula on top with a dense brush (or the dense end of the dual-ended blush brush). To soften the color, sheer out the formula by buffing excess product onto the back your hand before applying to the face.
Shop the brand-new set of shades exclusively at sephora.com and patrickta.com before they sell out for good.
