Paula Abdul Discusses Possibility of Joining Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives’
Paula Abdul teased a slight career change—one that would add her to the cast of Bravo's hit reality franchise, Real Housewives.
While the choreographer and TV personality has yet to actually go ahead and sign a contract with the network, she revealed that she had been asked to do so on more than one occasion.
During her appearance at Hollywood's Homeless Not Toothless fundraiser on Saturday night, the 60-year-old Grammy winner told Page Six that she's "been asked many, many times" to join the show.

The "Straight Up" singer said that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills isn't the only interested party in casting her, but it's a top contender. "And some other franchises, too," Abdul teased. "I’m not gonna tell you [which]."
The former American Idol judge doubled down on how much of a good decision it would be to cast her, noting that she's been "friends with a lot of the women for a long time."
Abdul also joked that her experience co-hosting the national singing competition show alongside American Idol OG Simon Cowell prepared her for the "drama" of reality TV, adding that she's "no stranger" to it thanks to "the guy that [used to sit] next to [her] that starts with a ‘Si’ and ends with a ‘mon.'"
But as for why she isn't jumping to sign onto any Bravo original reality show just yet, the answer is pretty simple. "As much as I am absolutely the biggest fan and I love watching," the pop star explained, "it’s a lot of drama."
And for that reason, we don't blame her.
