She posed in spicy lingerie for the cover, and shared more images from the same shoot.

So many of our favorite celebs have books in the works or on shelves—Kelly Ripa, Jada Pinkett Smith, Whoopi Goldberg, to name a few—and Paulina Porizkova is joining them. The former supermodel, 57, has been working on her writing since 2021, and she just revealed her book cover (along with a series of lingerie photos) on Instagram. Introducing: No Filter: The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful.
The post, shared on October 7, features a collage of four photos—one of which is her book cover: a candid close-up in which she leans against a piece of furniture and smiles. In the other three shots, she wears various lingerie pairings—a silk slip, a satin printed robe over a bra and underwear, knee-high stockings—while posing for the camera in her apartment. The photos were originally taken for a New York Times interview, she wrote in the caption, and she was pleasantly surprised with how they turned out.
She admitted to underestimating her photographer, a young photojournalist named Adeline Lulo. “Honestly, when I first saw her, my brain went totally ageist- she’s a young, pretty woman, and I thought -eh, this is really more about the interview than the photos. I know how to do my job, I’ll make it easy for her,” she wrote.
“When the photos came out, I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was a little shocked by how good they were. A very good reminder that ageism goes both ways—and I just learned something new about myself.”
She continued: “And it turns out we also got my book cover out of the very same session—unintentionally at the time!”
Fans and followers loved the photos and shared their excitement for the new book. “Love your honesty ?? and the photos are gorgeous! can’t wait for the book ??,” one person commented. “So stunning as always. This photoshoot is pure art! I really can’t wait to read your book????,” another added. “Congratulations! Can’t wait to read it xx,” someone else wrote.
The book is a memoir, formatted as a collection of essays, that cover her entire life—from growing up in Cold War Czechoslovakia, to becoming the highest-paid model in the world, to divorcing her ex-husband and then grieving his tragic death.
To say Porizkova is excited to share her story with the world is an understatement. On September 7, she shared a review from the New York Post that called it a “raw and candid” must-add to every fall reading list.
“This made me more thrilled than any cover of a magazine (except for the first one) I’ve ever gotten,” she captioned the post. “Being validated for something I’ve made with my brain and heart—is possibly the biggest thrill of my life.”
