She loves Beauty Pie’s “delightfully light” Ultralight Daily SPF 30.

If Paulina Porizkova cares enough about a skincare product to share it on Instagram, we want in. That’s because the former supermodel spends most of her time online discussing more important issues—like ageism, the trappings of comparison, and her thoughts about Botox. So when she wants to talk shopping, her recommendations are serious. In a new post, the 57-year-old shared her summer skincare routine, and most notably, the “delightfully light” SPF she loves: Beauty Pie’s Ultralight Daily SPF 30.
“One of the most important things you can do [for] yourself in the summertime—for sure in the summertime, but really all year ’round—is your SPF,” she says in the video. After applying the brand’s Youthbomb serum (a name she said she doesn’t love, for obvious reasons) and Superactive Vitamin C Capsules, the actress applies a generous amount of the sunscreen. It initially has a bit of a white cast, she mentions, but that quickly absorbs into the skin to leave behind a radiant glow.
“It protects [the skin] from getting more wrinkles,” she laughs. “Because, I feel like, although I really appreciate my wrinkles—they’re there for a good reason because I’m 57—I don’t need to accelerate the process, do I?”
According to the brand’s website, it’s a pore-blurring, mineral formula that’s infused with antioxidants vitamin E, green tea, and aloe vera, as well as plumping peptides that maintain moisture without feeling heavy or greasy. The best part of all? It’s only $17.
“This has a nice lightweight moisturizing texture. Works well over a day cream but you can definitely use it alone if your skin is more oily or you are just pressed for time,” one reviewer writes. “I loved this product and would order again and again. It went on well under foundation and provided SPF while being light, non-greasy, and nonirritating for my sensitive prone skin,” another adds.
“I have tried many SPFs and I have to say this is a pleasure to use. My skin is combo, acne prone and sensitive,” someone else writes.
Porizkova’s entire line-up consists of products from Beauty Pie, a subscription-based brand for which she serves as an ambassador. The service is super unique in that it promises low prices without retail markups because products are sourced and delivered directly from beauty labs. An annual membership of $59 provides access to regular restocks that won’t break the bank, which is why Porizkova is such a huge fan.
