PBS and Zappos Are Teaming Up for an Ultra-Inclusive Kids' Apparel Collection
We’re all for brands making inclusivity the norm, so when a new one pops up, we have to share.
In an effort to promote the inclusion of kids of all abilities, PBS is teaming up with Zappos to launch a gender-neutral, two-way reversible adaptive children’s apparel line. And. It’s. Awesome.
The exclusive collaboration is part of the Zappos Adaptive collection, which offers functional and stylish clothing that helps people with disabilities get dressed more easily.
Every piece in the kid-friendly line was designed to promote independence and creative expression, and comes in four prints: dinosaurs, rain forests, oceans and airplanes. The soft, machine-washable, reversible T-shirts and pants can be worn forward or backward, have zero buttons and feature dissolvable tags (yes) that disappear in the wash. The clothing will be available in children’s sizes 18 months to 6X and range from $26 to $32.
Preview the entire collection here and sign up to be notified when it launches. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we need to figure out how to get these genius dissolvable tags in all of our clothing.
