Peanut Butter Twix Are Making A Comeback
If your world shattered into a million pieces when Twix discontinued its peanut butter flavor, then suffer no more, because Peanut Butter Twix are officially back.
According to a Reddit user named stlunatic15, the flavor was discontinued earlier this year due to "supply challenges" on the candy bar's production line, but it was announced back in July that Peanut Butter Twix would be back on candy aisles nationwide by this month. That's the good news. The bad news is that, despite the initial announcement, the resurrected flavor doesn't appear to be very easy to find.
On Twix's official Twitter page, the company very briefly addressed peoples' concerns about not being able to find the treat anywhere, but the short statement sort of made it seem like that was kind of the point.
"We know it seems like #TWIX PB is hard to find and we promise we're not just hoarding it ourselves. Tell us where you #FoundNewTWIX," Twix wrote.
Basically anyone who's lucky enough to actually come across the candy can share with the world where they found it using the #FoundNewTWIX hashtag. So far, the tag hasn't gained too much traction, and it looks like those who have found it either ordered the candy online in bulk or were sent the special flavors by representatives of Twix.
