Pedro Pascal Reveals He Got Spat on in a Recent Los Angeles Road Rage Incident

Pedro Pascal has been everywhere from the planet Nevarro in The Mandalorian to a post-apocalyptic U.S. in The Last of Us. When he isn't somewhere out of this world, he hops in his car and drives from point A to point B just like everyone else.

But if you ask some of the drivers who've shared the road with him, a few wouldn't exactly have great things to say. The Chilean-born performer sat down with Beef star Steven Yeun for Variety's Actors on Actors series to discuss life in the entertainment industry and much more. At one point, when discussing road rage (a key part of Beef's premise), Pascal revealed that his own driving record isn't exactly squeaky clean.

"I've had three incidents, and they've all been my fault," he confessed. In his most recent kerfuffle in Los Angeles, the other driver was so upset they hocked a loogie on the glass. "I cut somebody off, and I look over, and there's a big glob of saliva—like visual effects put it there, man—just dripping down the side of the passenger window."

The slimy confrontation left Pascal "in shock," but he managed to keep his cool in the situation. "It didn’t trigger any rage out of me," he said. "It absolutely humbled me and shocked me, scared me a little bit, [and] disturbed me."

"They want me to drink in their saliva," he added. "It made me feel guilty. I was like, 'Gosh, people are going through shit.'"

At this point, Pascal has lived through the COVID-19 pandemic and The Last of Us' fungal pandemic, so he's seemingly prepared to handle germs from anywhere and anyone. Still, cleaning strangers' spit off your car window isn't exactly the most glamorous experience.
