Take a Peek Inside Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s New Santa Barbara Home

2 min read

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently purchased a $14.65 million home in the wealthy neighborhood of Montecito, California. And now, the royal couple is giving us another look at their new abode.

Earlier this week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a joint video call with leaders from the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust. While we could easily go on and on about Prince Harry’s sun kissed skin, we couldn’t help but take advantage of this rare glimpse at their new home.

In the clip, Prince Harry and Markle are sitting in the corner of what appears to be their living room. The background features two large windows that provide loads of natural light for their tree, which is situated next to a stone fireplace.

Prince Harry and Markle’s new estate is located in Montecito, a seaside town in Santa Barbara County. Although it’s about a two-hour drive from Los Angeles, the area is known for being a celebrity hot spot, with people like Gwyneth Paltrow, Oprah Winfrey and Ariana Grande owning nearby compounds.

The main residence features 19,000 square feet of living space, including 9 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms. Although they’re planning on doing some renovations, the decorating appears to be coming along A-OK.

The move came shortly after Prince Harry and Markle announced they were stepping down as senior royals. They originally relocated to Canada before residing in a temporary mansion in Los Angeles, though many believe Santa Barbara is where they’ll permanently settle down.

Props to Prince Harry and Markle for perfectly angling the camera to preview as little of their new home as possible. (#Savage)
