Peek Inside Princess Beatrice's Home in a New Video

Princess Beatrice is continuing to support her patronages amid the COVID-19 crisis, albeit in a socially distanced way. Today, the royal shared a video message about her patronage, the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity, which appeared to have been filmed inside her apartment at St. James's Palace.

The clip is filmed vertically, offering a look at the white wall behind her, a mysterious painting, and just a glimpse of her wooden chair. Beatrice wears a black and white puff-sleeve shirt, and has her hair styled in a casual side part.

But the royal didn't make this video just to offer a peek at her home—she has a message to share on behalf of her charity. Beatrice opens the video with an acknowledgement of the current circumstances—"this is an incredibly challenging time, for the world and for the United Kingdom"—before explaining that the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity is still open.

"Yes, they are doing things online at the moment, rather than face-to-face, but their incredible team of specialists is here to help whenever you need them," she says. "Whether that is online courses, tutored sessions, or their online helpline, please get in touch."

The charity shared the video on Twitter, noting that Beatrice was their patron, and adding, "do get in touch if we can help."

Beatrice may be carrying on with her royal responsibilities—and likely with her full-time job in the private sector—but she's still seen her plans turned upside down amid the pandemic. She and her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, were scheduled to have their royal wedding in May; now, it's sadly been canceled.
