People Already Think Jimmy Fallon And John Cena's Michelob Ultra Commercial Won The Super Bowl
Somehow it's already time for the Super Bowl. That means most of us will spend this weekend cooking dips, drinking beers, and watching commercials. I hear there will be a game on somewhere in there but I cannot confirm. Though we've already gotten a look at plenty of the commercials that will air on Sunday, the internet seems to have decided already that Michelob Ultra's ad will win the night.
The ad stars two fan faves, John Cena and Jimmy Fallon, working out in anticipation of a beer at the end. It's pretty much what we all do, but just picture me at spin class dreaming of margaritas and queso at the end. Yum.
In the ad, which you do need to watch for yourself, Jimmy and John lift weights (Jimmy's flies out the window), run alongside Olympian Usain Bolt (Jimmy declares "This is it! This is how I die!"), golf, play volleyball, and play football, where Jimmy seems to finally find his footing. AW.
We won't ruin all of the celebrity and athlete cameos that the ad has (though you probably won't be surprised that The Roots are in there!) but let's just say it's all pretty damn delightful.
The ad has already been a hit on social media and it's been viewed more than a million times on YouTube. Fans are pretty convinced we won't see a better commercial than this one on Sunday.
"Now that’s what you call an advertisement that’s entertaining," one fan commented.
"Make a movie together," another said.
You can also see the commercial during the game on Sunday where presumably you can toast Jimmy and John with a beer through the TV...that's not weird, right?
