Frigidaire’s mini model promises to cool down rooms up to 150 square feet and has a low-power startup mode, made to conserve energy so you’re not shelling out hundreds to stay cool. Seriously, think about all the rosé you can buy with the money you’re not spending on your electric bill.

On top of the money saved, Amazon reviewers could not stop raving about how well this little machine cooled down their rooms on hot summer nights.

“It's been in the 80s and I've used it every night for two weeks. I only need to turn it on a half hour before I sleep and the room is very comfortable,” wrote one five-star reviewer. “If I put in on Low Cool and number 4 to 5 it keeps the room at a steady 71 degrees all night!”

Even our editors are on board. WomansDay.com’s senior editor, Lauren Smith uses this unit in her own apartment and says it cools down way more square footage than it promises. And GoodHousekeeping.com's associate editor, Caroline Picard, also has one and was super impressed by how easy it was to install. You only need a screwdriver!
