People react to Melania Trump's meeting with Venezuela's opposition leader's wife: 'You are no better than your husband'
Melania Trump‘s meeting with the wife of Venezuela’s opposition leader is being met with mixed reactions, including those who think that FLOTUS is only adding to the South American country’s problems.

Trump took to her social media on Thursday to share photos and a message of hope following her Mar-a-Lago meeting with Fabiana Rosales, where the two discussed the ongoing political and economic crisis in Venezuela and their plans to restore democracy for the sake of the country’s children. But with the turmoil taking place in America, specifically with children of immigrant families, some people think that Trump might not be the woman for the job.
You are no better than your husband. You have become the female version of his self. Shameful. You will end up alone and known for your lack of empathy. https://t.co/kVLtVj0mz8

Hey @FLOTUS , Why don't you do the same and tell that jerk of a husband of yours to free the children he has put in cages. You are all such hypocrites. https://t.co/hacgnVCfme

Others pointed FLOTUS’ attention to the many other countries that she can lend help to, and have even called out the first family for supporting Venezuela’s opposition leader who they say orchestrated “illegal coup.”

“But what about the people who are being persecuted and killed in Nigeria too for following Christ,” someone commented on Trump’s Instagram post. “Can they get some help over there please?”
“This is a disgrace! This was an illegal coup!” another wrote. “Shame on Trump whom I voted for!”
Still, Trump had many supporters after meeting with Rosales. Especially those Venezuelans who are desperate for change in their country.
Grateful with @FLOTUS nice gesture with a suffering Venezuela
