Most of the time, you have a general idea of what turns you on and, of course, turns you off. However, sometimes, you can find yourself caught off guard and turned on unexpectedly — by a friend or colleague, even.

So, we had asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to share what their friend did that accidentally turned them on — inspired by Redditor u/titan_slayer05's question — and they did not disappoint:

1."This was a guy who I'd never seen as more than a friend. We met at work and were never romantic in any way. One time, we got off work and were walking to my car. Suddenly, he came close to me and said, 'You have a—' He took a leaf out of my hair and tucked it behind my ear. I swear my body lit up."

2."We were on the bus, and I was drawing on his hands. He had let me do this many times while on our way home. This time, after I said a joke, he did a sort of chuckle. I looked while he smiled and watched me draw on his hands. I stopped because it was getting to be too much for me. He asked me why I stopped and said that it was soothing. I lied and said I wanted to take a nap when I was really just overwhelmed."
