Pete Davidson Brings Madelyn Cline as Date to SNL After-Party
On Saturday, Pete Davidson brought new girlfriend Madelyn Cline to Catch Steak for an after party following his return to Saturday Night Live. The pair have only recently been linked to one another. Davidson split with actress Chase Sui Wonders in August.
As they arrived, Davidson attempted to keep a low profile under a tan baseball cap, which he wore with a black, brown, and green two-piece over a white t-shirt. Cline wore a black bodysuit with long sleeves and a turtleneck under wide-legged black slacks. She left her blonde hair down, and had on a small gold pendant and black sneakers.
Cline and Davidson were first linked in September, but it is reportedly a casual connection. The Outer Banks star did visit Davidson in Las Vegas for a romantic weekend; however, a source told the Daily Mail that Cline sees her new relationship as “fun” and “a good time.”
“Madelyn anticipates her current relationship with Pete as just a good time and it will not be her last one,” the source said. “She thinks he is hilarious, and fun and she is all about hanging out with him, but she is 25, and she doesn't want anything serious, she wants to chase fun, and she thinks Pete thinks the same and their relationship is all about having a good time.”
They added, “It is in no way serious, she is taking it day by day and that is all that works for her right now, Pete shouldn't expect her to be his soulmate, she is not giving off those vibes.”
Davidson's romantic history often attracts attention. Aside from Wonders, he's dated Kim Kardashian, Margaret Qualley, Ariana Grande, and Phoebe Dynevor. Cline's romantic history includes her Outer Banks co-star Chase Stokes, who she split with in November 2021 after a year of dating.
After their breakup, she told Cosmopolitan, “I am a really private person. There's a part of me that is for me and nobody else. But in hindsight, duh, making my relationship public made it everybody else's business...And I realized the negative side effects of that while going through the breakup, realizing I had let people in and then felt like I couldn't get anybody out. It just hit me like a freight train.”
She added, “I wanted us both to move on and be happy. People see the need for sides. There are no sides—there's no winning or losing in a breakup.”
