Pete Davidson was invited onto The Tonight Show last night to promote his new Netflix film Set It Up and of course, answer questions about his engagement to Ariana Grande. Davidson did confirm to Jimmy Fallon the two are getting married, joking, "But I did though [have to get engaged to come on this show]," he said. "Yeah, I feel like I won a contest. So sick. It’s fucking lit, Jimmy. It’s so funny, walking around the street, because dudes go by and they’re like," Davidson tips his baseball cap. "Some dude comes up to me, and he’s like, ‘yo man, you like gave me hope.’ I was like, ‘I didn’t know I was that ugly!’ Jesus! I’m a lucky motherfucker."

Fallon commented on his Ariana Grande-inspired neck tattoo, and Davidson questioned why people were so invested in their relationship. "Why do people care? It’s very weird. It’s weird ‘cause like the President’s like trying to pardon himself and he’s like f*cking a porn star. It’s like, shouldn’t we care about that?"

The rest of the interview became far more than Fallon bargained for? Davidson refused to stop saying "fuck" on television despite Fallon's on-air request and chose to promote Robert Pattinson's old movie Good Time instead of his own. "That’s why I came here," he said. "What? I’m going to promote a movie I’m in for 10 seconds? Which is great by the way, it’s amazing, you know, whatever, go see it. But he should’ve got an Oscar. It was fucking sick." Then he cracked more jokes about how he'll never do the Tonight Show again and with Grande, "I’m forever known as her plus one."

It's insane but also pretty incredible to watch:
