Peter Weber’s Mom Barb Says Kelley Flanagan Is “The Daughter That I’ve Always Wanted”
Peter Weber’s mom Barb says Kelley Flanagan is the daughter she always wanted.
Barb infamously was not here for Peter’s ex-girlfriend Madison Prewett.
Yesterday, Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan gave their first official interview as a couple on the season premiere of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons—Ever, and who should show up as a third wheel? That’d be Peter’s mom Barb “BRING HER HOME TO US” Weber.
Barb is probably most famous for absolutely slamming Madison Prewett during ABC’s live Bachelor “After the Final Rose” special, but apparently she’s all about Kelley. “It’s a dream come true,” she said while perched on a couch next to her son and his girlfriend. “I love her. I love her so much, and she’s the daughter that I’ve always wanted.” Cute, though slightly awkward times for Madison, Hannah Ann, Hannah Brown, and Barb’s other son’s girlfriend.
Barb has actually been vocally supportive of Kelley from before she and Peter started dating, and literally can’t stop commenting on her Instagrams. Meanwhile, Peter has made it clear that his mom is one of the most important people in his life, telling Nick Viall, “In regards to what occurred onstage, you know...could [my mom’s] delivery been different? 100 percent. But where that was coming from was a place of pure love. That’s who my mom is. I respect the hell out of my mom. To be able to speak her mind and not feel the pressure to cave in to a certain narrative on live television, in front of millions of people...that takes a strong person. That’s the love of a mother.”
Can’t argue with that.
