Matt Damon has been making some... um, trying to think of a nice way to put this, idiotic? statements lately. Alyssa Milano had to explain rape culture to him, and then he went full #notallmen when talking about sexual harassment and abuse.

Ouch, brah.

Well, now lots of women (and many other genders, including men!) are saying they want Matt's cameo in Ocean's 8 cancelled. The all-female Ocean's 11 reboot features a cast filled with some of your favorite kick-ass ladies, including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, and Anne Hathaway, and because of this, some people think Matt doesn't belong in the movie. Oh, and they've made a "Remove Matt Damon" petition about it, which already has over 23,000 signatures, which is about 4,000 more than their original goal of 19,000.

“The movie [spotlights] the talents of its tremendous female cast and showcase the savvy and prowess of its characters,” the petition reads, before adding that Matt's inclusion would "trivialize the serious nature of the charges against sexual abusers like [Harvey] Weinstein - a show massive disrespect for the brave women speaking out."

They continue: "It would also send a terrible message about the inevitability of - and lack of accountability for - sexual harassment in the workplace that four in ten American women experience."

The petition's goal is now at 25,000 signatures.
