Pillsbury Comes for Starbucks With 2 New Ready-to-Bake Fall Treats

Pillsbury is making foodies fall back in love with the flavors of autumn well before its official arrival with several new additions to its seasonal product lineup.

The "soon-to-be fan favorites" include two new flavors of ready-to-bake bread batters that are like something off a Starbucks menu and said to be heading to shelves at stores nationwide this August.

According to a rep, the new Apple Cinnamon Pillsbury Bread Batter and Pumpkin Spice Pillsbury Bread Batter are "full of spice and everything nice," but they'll only be around until Halloween.

Like its ready-to-bake cinnamon rolls, cookies, and crescent rolls, the pre-made batters require almost no effort to mix. Simply cut, squeeze, and bake. If the results are anything like Pillsbury's Banana Bread Batter, consumers are in for a real treat.

Along with the two new sweets, the General Mills-owned brand confirmed it's also returning a handful of other fall favorites, including Pumpkin Spice Cheerios, Betty Crocker's Pumpkin Spice Cookie Mix, as well as the Caramel Apple Cookie Mix, Pillsbury Grands! Pumpkin Spice, Pillsbury's ready-to-eat football-shaped cookie dough, and the Pumpkin Caramel flavor of Oui yogurt. It's also bringing more "fall vibes" with the new Cinnamon & Apple Oui.

We may still be in the dog days of summer, but countless companies have already begun catering to the classic fall favorite spice mix. Believe it or not, after all these years, brands are still finding new ways to incorporate the blend of ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves into innovative versions of everyday favorites–just look at 7-Eleven's new Pumpkin Spice Slurpee.
