Pillsbury Has New Funfetti Christmas Cookie Kits
The holidays aren’t just about eating cookies — it’s also about putting in a little work to bake them, too! Pillsbury Baking is making putting together a wow-worthy sweet treat simple with its new Funfetti Christmas Tree Cookie Kit and Cookie Sandwich Baking Kit.
As you can tell by the pictures, the kits require more than just throwing some cookie dough on a sheet (although we love doing that as well). The Christmas Tree box includes cookie mix, cookie cutters, sprinkles, frosting pastry bag, recipe book and step-by-step instructions, and two Pillsbury Doughboy Baker Hats. Not only will you look the part, but you’ll have everything you need to build a three-cookie-tier treat, complete with green frosting in between each layer and decorated with red, green, and yellow star sprinkles.
For something slightly less tall, the Cookie Sandwich kit comes with cookie mix, sprinkles, frosting pastry bag, recipe book and step-by-step instructions, and two Pillsbury Doughboy Baker Hats. These are a bit different, because the goal is to sandwich the green frosting between two Funfetti cookies. Plus, these include snowflake sprinkles for the wintery touch we all hope for around the holidays!
The kits make 12 trees or sandwiches, but remember, they each include at least two cookies and plenty of frosting, so it’s not your average bite. You can expect to see them at retailers right after Thanksgiving, a PR rep told Best Products. Each kit will cost $7 to $8.25, depending on the store and location.
Even if baking isn’t necessarily your thing, Pillsbury is making it super easy to make a Pinterest-worthy Christmas creation. Better fire up the oven!
