Pillsbury’s New Pull-Apart Kit Is the Easiest Way to Make Fresh Bread
UPDATED: June 23, 2021 at 9:53 a.m.
We first heard about the Pillsbury Pull-Apart Kit over a year ago when an Instagram account spotted them at Walmart. However, back then it was called Pull-Apart Bites. It appears that Pillsbury has rebranded them, switched up the packaging, and put them back out on shelves for all to enjoy.
The good news is that the flavors are the same. The Garlic Bread variety comes with garlic butter-flavored sauce and the Monkey Bread comes with caramel-flavored sauce. The kit comes with almost everything you need to make both of the pull-apart breads. You’ll just need shredded cheese and butter for the Garlic Bread and butter for the Monkey Bread. The result will be a family-sized bite that makes about eight servings.
You can find both varieties of Pillsbury’s Pull-Apart Kit at Walmart, and they’re also listed on other websites, so they are not a store-exclusive. Just head to the refrigerated aisle and you can pick up the ultimate addition to tonight’s dinner!

The idea of baking homemade bread sounds great and all, but sometimes you just don’t want to put in that much effort. Sue us! Pillsbury is making the process easy with its new Pull-Apart Bites. The kits come with everything you need to have a warm, carb-filled bite on the table.
Instagram account @rednecksnackandfood spotted the Pull-Apart Bites in two flavors. The Monkey Bread comes with caramel-flavored sauce for a sweet taste and the Garlic Butter brings the savory flavor. Each kit, which retails for $3.28 at Walmart, includes pre-cut dough and sauce packets.
While we totally support having the Pull-Apart Bites as a meal by themselves, they also make for great additions to your spread. The Monkey Bread can be baked for breakfast, brunch, or even dessert. And the Garlic Butter can go along with any dinner, especially a big bowl of pasta.
There is so much room for creativity here, so we really hope that Pillsbury runs with it! We’re thinking some sort of chocolate bread is in order. Or a fruity version that’s mixed with berries. The possibilities! And we volunteer ourselves to be taste testers for them all.
