Baking sure is fun, but sometimes you may not feel like turning on the oven. That's especially true on a hot summer day, which is one reason why we were so thankful when Pillsbury began adding "eat or bake" labels to its ready-to-bake cookie dough earlier this year to indicate it's now officially safe to eat straight from the package.

As one Instagram sleuth recently pointed out, the same now applies for Pillsbury's Place & Bake Brownies. Along with chocolate fudge, marshmallow and peanut butter chip variety, Instagrammer @CandyHunting also spotted a new peanut butter flavor.

Since no mixing or measuring whatsoever is required, you can now tear open a package of your favorite flavor and insert the brownie dough directly into your mouth. If you decide to go the baking route, each package makes 12 brownies, which will be oven-fresh in only 20 minutes. The packages recommends dividing the pre-portioned servings of brownies up in a muffin tin, so be sure to grab some fresh liners while you're at the grocery store if pre-heating your oven lies in your future.

Pillsbury also recently released two new flavors of its iconic cookie dough. Confetti Sugar Cookie Dough features sugar cookies packed full of rainbow sprinkles, while Reese's Peanut Butter Cookie Dough is inspired by your favorite candy bar. Oh, and in case you were wondering, Pillsbury's brownie dough has also been designated "eat or bake." Oh, what a wonderful world!
