Pink’s Hilarious Elf on the Shelf “Mom Fail” Will Make You LOL
Holiday tradtions don’t always go as planned… just ask Pink. Like many moms out there (Sarah Michelle Gellar included!), the 38-year-old partakes in the epic ritual known as Elf on the Shelf — Santa’s magical “scout elf” who flies to the North Pole each night to tell Saint Nick about his adventures with the family he stays with (and maybe even who’s been naughty and who’s been nice). Each morning, he returns home to a brand new spot, where he can observe the day all over again. Er… at least he’s supposed to.
As the “Beautiful Trauma” singer revealed on Instagram, her family’s elf, Chippy, has been taking an unexpected rest after she and hubby Carey Hart forgot to move him, and daughter Willow has grown a bit… concerned. So concerned, in fact, that she sat down to write a letter to Santa, asking him what gives.
“Translation: MOM FAIL,” Pink wrote of Willow’s note. She also deciphered for the six-year-old, saying, “Santa, I am worried about Chippy, he has been in the same spot for three days, I don’t know why.”#elfonthedamnshelf.”
Yikes! Luckily, the mommy of two is plenty creative (this is a woman who hung off the side of an actual hotel building for her 2017 AMAs performance, after all)!, so we’ve no doubt she’ll find an absolutely EPIC way to recover from what she’s dubbed her parenting flub.
