Pink Issues Health Update After Cancelling Concert Day-Of: 'Very Sorry'
Pink is among the list of artists who've had to reschedule tour dates this fall due to health reasons.
In a statement shared on social media, the pop star announced that her Texas concert had to be postponed. She lamented the situation, writing , "I'm very sorry to report that I have come down with a bad sinus infection, and the doctor advised me not to perform tonight. I am so disappointed. You know I do everything in my power to never miss a show."
She noted that she's changing the date of her show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas—which was supposed to be the night of Sept. 29—for Sunday, Nov. 26. All previously-purchased tickets will be honored, and the "Just Give Me a Reason" singer promised a "phenomenal show."
Pink ended her message with another apology, sharing, "I hope to see you then, and again, am so deeply sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. It is never my intention. Sending you all love."
In the comments, Brandi Carlile, who has been Pink's opener on this tour, showed her support with emojis: "????."
Fans also rallied around her, sharing wishes for a speedy recovery. "Sweet lovely Lady ???? you give us so much of you, so please relax rest and recover soon Take care," read a comment.
Another fan wrote, "I know what a difficult decision this was for you @pink . You put 1000x your weight into your work, I am a first hand witness. Feel much better real soon ????."
