Our Place Just Launched a New Color of the Always Pan Just in Time for Mother’s Day
At this point, if you’re not familiar with Our Place’s beloved Always Pan—the multitasking nonstick skillet that has infiltrated Instagram feeds and millennial kitchens alike—it’s time to get acquainted. It’s nonstick, can do the work of an eight-piece cookware set and sells out faster than you can bat an eyelash (it’s that good). And as of today, there’s an earthy new hue of the Always Pan to grace your stovetop: Terracotta.
Following the brand’s most recent color addition (Heat), Terracotta is a warm, dusky orange shade that reminds us of desert landscapes, alfresco summer dinners and, yes, terra cotta pots. It’s also making its debut just in time for Mother’s Day, in case you’re stumped on gift ideas.
The new color continues the line’s trend of muted, versatile hues, but more importantly, it features the same eight-in-one functionality and ease of use that we know and love. The inner surface is non-stick and non-toxic, the modular lid and mesh basket make steaming a breeze and it comes with a companion nesting spatula—all for $145. (Worth noting: It’s not dishwasher-safe, but wipes clean with ease.)
Whether you’re snagging Terracotta for yourself or your mom, you can also pair it with the brand’s new Tadhig Trio. It includes the Noosh-e-Joon platter (designed for making the traditional Persian rice dish, tadhig, with ease), a damkoni (a cloth covering that absorbs steam when cooking rice) and a jar of saffron to jumpstart your recipes. The $65 set is currently sold out, but you can add yourself to a waitlist—we use ours for flipping frittatas, too.
We don’t like to play favorites, but Terracotta might be the prettiest Always Pan yet. (Just don’t tell the other colors we said that.)
