Here are some places to shop for tax-free weekend. See when and where to take advantage
Tax-free weekend in Mississippi is at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 12, and runs through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, bringing crowds to many local stores in Jackson and surrounding areas.
The sales-tax holiday applies to each eligible item selling for less than $100, according to the Mississippi Department of Revenue.
Items priced at $100 or more are subject to sales tax at the regular retail rate of 7%. The tax holiday also qualifies for online purchases as well.
Below is a list of a few locations at which to shop for the tax-free weekend.
Northpark Mall
Nearly all retail stores inside Northpark Mall will have discounts on items to lure customers in to shop for the tax-free weekend.

Outlets of Mississippi
Outlets of Mississippi in Pearl, has many different retail stores such as Nike, Kay Jewelry, Forever 21 and more for customers to shop for tax-free deals.
Location:
200 Bass Pro Drive, Pearl
Office Depot
"Customers can shop in-store and online and pay no sales tax on items for tax-free weekend," according to the Office Depot website.

120 Grandview Blvd., Madison
5450 US-80, Pearl
4950 I-55, Jackson
Walmart
"Walmart will have major tax-free deals starting July 8," according to Walmart.com.
Some of those deals include 50% off fashion, $100 off electronics, 30% off toys and more. Those deals also apply to online purchases.

Target
"Target.com and Target stores participate in tax-free sales events, and will honor tax exemption on qualifying items for the duration of the event," according to Target.com

Old Navy
Old Navy will be honoring tax-free on all clothing and shoe items totaling under $100.
