Labor Day weekend might be summer’s last hurrah, but it’s also synonymous with another thing: Amazing shoe sales. So in between hosting cookouts and taking a dip in the pool before the fall chill, devote some time to browsing deals.
One of the best scoops of the Labor Day shoe sales? Sneakers! From Amazon to Zappos, you can snag some serious deals on supportive, cool kicks.
Want us to walk you through the options? We asked New York City-based board-certified podiatrist Dr. Polina Zaydenberg to peruse the sales and let us know what she’s shopping. And she says it’s an ideal time to buy.
“Investing in sneakers now makes sense — you can wear them year-round, no matter the weather — and they provide much more support than flimsy flats. They’re a great choice if you have flat feet, too.”
Check out these podiatrist-approved styles — and add them to your cart before they sell out.
Save 46 percent: Adidas Originals Women's Pulseboost Hd Running Shoe

These lightweight sneakers have an air bubble, which is a great shock absorber, especially for those who battle heel pain. They come in a ton of colors too, and for the price, you really can’t get much better — they even have nearly 5,400 reviews — 70 percent of which rank the sneakers four stars or higher.
In fact, Dr. Zaydenberg loves these shoes so much, she already got them — and wore them!

The Bondi 6 has rave reviews from shoppers with plantar fasciitis, neuromas and more. One even described wearing them as “walking on a bed of firm marshmallows,” which sounds absolutely delightful.

“They’re really accommodative,” Dr. Zaydenberg shares.
Zappos shoppers love them, too: “This is it kids, this is the one!” one raved. “I found my 'sole' mate. Not a great runner, call myself a trotter but with these babies I might become one. Straight outta the box perfection.”
