Cops scream 'get your f*****g hands up' during raid at 4-year-old boy's birthday party
A Chicago family is speaking out about having their home mistakenly besieged by the Chicago Police Department — during a birthday party for a 4-year-old boy.
In an interview with Chicago’s CBS 2, the birthday boy’s older sister, 7-year-old Samari Boswell, shared how officers pointed guns at those gathered, including children.

“They were saying F words and stuff. It was horrible!” Boswell said of the raid that interrupted her brother TJ’s party on Feb. 10.
“I thought they was going to shoot me, and my brother, and everybody else,” she added.
Footage obtained by CBS 2 shows 17 Chicago PD officers storming the home. The raid allegedly lasted around 40 minutes, and resulted in the children’s aunt, Kiqiana Jackson. Jackson said she was handcuffed in front of the kids after demanding that the officers show her a search warrant.
“All I heard was steps, like shoes coming down the stairs hard, and saying get your f*****g hands up,” Jackson told the news station. “I asked for a search warrant, I guess one too many times, and he was like, ‘Arrest her.’
“They manhandled me. It took two officers to get the cuffs on me,” she continued.
As it turns out, the raid was done in error. Police had reportedly descended upon the home in order to serve a warrant for a drug possession charge to a former resident had who moved out five years ago.
Chicago PD has come under fire for misguided raids, but surprisingly, this was the second time in a week that they broke up a child’s birthday party. As Chicago’s Fox 32 reports, Donieshia Wade has accused officers of illegally raiding her home without showing her a warrant. Video footage of the Feb. 8 raid shows children — gathered for a party — crying and officers swearing at her.
“It’s traumatic,” Wade said. “I’ve heard of things happening with CPD, and our society, and our community, and I’ve never experienced it first-hand.”
