Who Is Popcorn on Season 4 of 'The Masked Singer'?
Who's ready to see The Masked Singer finalists face off? This season has been going on since September, and it's officially the holiday season, so it's about time we see who'll be crowned the winner. There are only two characters each left from Group A, Group B, and Group C, and the final six are Popcorn, Sun, Crocodile, Mushroom, Seahorse, and Jellyfish.
The last time we saw Popcorn, at the Group A finals in mid-November, she performed Jessie J's "Domino," and she had guest panelist Niecy Nash thinking she was Anika Noni Rose, who played Princess Tiana in The Princess and the Frog. But she also put her money on Cyndi Lauper. Panelist Ken Jeong thinks it could be Anita Baker, who's known for her soulful ballads. No one else seemed convinced on that one, though. Jenny McCarthy is sure it's Taylor Dayne, who's one of the top fan guesses.
Who do we think this person is? Read on for fans' guesses so far.
Cyndi Lauper
When my partner first watched this show, they immediately guessed that Popcorn is Lauper. Other fans seem to agree: This person definitely sounds like the "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" singer.

So far, Popcorn has performed "What About Us" by Pink and "Falling" by Harry Styles. The '80s legend does love a slow, emotional song, and the songs the masked performer selected so far definitely fit that vibe.
Taylor Dayne
The singer-songwriter seems to be the number one guess among fans. In the clues package, we hear "snacks in the city," and this could be a reference to the fact that Dayne was born and raised in Manhattan. The clues package mentions that she "built her career around love," and Dayne has several hit songs that mention the word "love," including "Tell It to My Heart," "Love Will Lead You Back," "Prove Your Love," and "I'll Always Love You." As Good Housekeeping notes, the biggest possible clue is the reference to meatloaf—Meatloaf covered Dayne's 1991 song "Original Sin."
Paula Abdul
One clue in particular has fans thinking that this singer is Abdul; during the clues package, Popcorn says "straight up," which is a popular song of Abdul's. Fans also point to the song "Cold Hearted," which features lyrics about a snake. There is a snake in the clues package.
Sofia Carson
Another popular guess is Sofía Daccarett Char, The Descendants actress known as Sofia Carson. There is a "mirror, mirror" clue in the package, which some fans think references Carson's role as Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen from Snow White.
