How Is This Possible? Pro Battles His Nerves Riding Down A Climbing Route

Mountain bikers ride steep stuff these days, but to ride down something people rope up to climb is a whole nother level.

This is an older clip from Kilian Bron - the Andorran alpine tech master and several-time MegaAvalanche winner - that he reposted recently as a teaser of what's apparently to come in the next few days.

Take a look at the classic clip below.

While the person climbing next to Bron dropping this slab was definitely staged to be there, it doesn't detract from how incredibly high consequence and steep this feature is.

There is no room for error in this maneuver. If the rider doesn't shut it down as soon as they hit the flat after the slab, it very well could be game over for them.

On another note, the amount of Instagram mountain bike pros and influencers that jumped on this spot as soon as it cropped up on the internet last summer was truly overwhelming. You really could not go a day without seeing someone new getting this exact clip for a month or so straight.

That being said, this clip and spot are still both very cool and worthwhile for a watch.
