POV: This Is What It’s Like To Ride a 1-Minute Tube at Skeleton Bay

You'll probably never get barreled for 1-minute straight at Skeleton Bay.

But at least you know what it looks like.

During the last big swell — the first legit one in 4 years — Nic Von Rupp surfed with a GoPro, the best way to self document a wave that's nearly impossible to film from the top all the way to the bottom on the beach.

"It takes us two waves and 10 minutes to surf 2.5Km, and then it's a 20-minute walk back up the point," Says Von Rupp in the POV edit below. "It's like an iron man."
