Olivia Pope and Fitz Grant, er, we mean, Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn, joined forces to present the Emmy award for Best Writing in a Limited TV Series or Movie this evening at the 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The duo shared some witty banter about how it's hard to make jokes about your show's writers because "next week your character might wind up with nothing to say."

"Or in a season-long coma," Goldwyn chimed in. "Or dead," Washington said bluntly. But, things got a little dicey when Goldwyn shared, "and sometimes writers have to deal creatively with an actor's real-life situation." Washington turned to Goldwyn, hand fiercely on hip, with her full bump in profile, and asked him, "What kind of situation are you talking about Tony?"

Goldwyn, hilariously flustered responded with a quick, "Nothing!" and moved on to the nominees. Clearly the two co-workers were joking, but we can never resist a good Olivia-Fitz back and forth, especially on live camera!

Washington and her baby bump looked stunning in a custom black Brandon Maxwell gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and cut-outs on the waist. Goldwyn, too, turned heads looking handsome in a classic black tux.
